In America, some seem to think if were not giving Israel billions of dollars in aid were not supporting Israel.
I say this is a far fetched notion.
I believe most Christians in America support Israel's right to exist. However most Americans believe Israel has the capability of supporting it's own military, and ought to have the right to deal with it's own foreign affairs without UN or US interference.
As Christians we should pray for the peace of Israel, we should also trade and promote the state of Israel. However as Americans it is not our right to steal money from taxpayers to pay for wars against Israel's enemies.
In the words of Davy Crockett, it's not our money to take from average citizens for our government to choose sides in other's foreign policies. Constitutionally, were not allowed to entangle ourselves in others foreign affairs.
I truly believe we can support Israel's right to exist without our government extorting money from it's citizens to make policies that eventually hurt Israel and the surrounding areas in the Middle East and still brings no peace for the Middle East.
In a nutshell, it's our foreign policy of making and proping up tyrant dictators that has given us a future that plagues us and half of the world.
Isn't it time we revamp a foreign policy that appears two-faced at best.
Let Israel defend herself, and as Americans let's get out of her way in doing that.
Let us once again live by our creeds, and enlighten the world with Liberty.
