McCain Rebuffs Dobson: Will Evangelicals Bolt?

By: Phil Brennan

Sen. John McCain's campaign has so far turned a deaf ear to invitations to meet with politically powerful evangelical leader Dr. James Dobson at his Focus on the Family headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colo., raising the possibility that the nation's sizable evangelical bloc will sit out the presidential race in November.

The move would all but assure the election of Sen. Barack Obama, columnist Robert Novak argues in a recent column.

Noting that Dobson has indicated he can't support McCain for president, Novak writes that Dobson's opposition to McCain "reflects continued resistance to the prospective presidential nominee among Christian conservatives who are unhappy with McCain's current positions on stem-cell research, immigration and global warming, not to mention his past sponsorship of campaign-finance reform."

Three Peas in a Pod

By Chuck Baldwin, | Constitution Party Candidate for President of the US.

"I realize that is extremely difficult for some people to think outside the box. The vast majority of people are prone to be followers, to "go with the flow," to follow the path of least resistance. This appears to be the nature of human nature.

Therefore, I think I understand the reasoning of many who are so reluctant to step outside the two major parties and vote for a third party candidate. I seem to recall that I, too, was just as hesitant (though not for nearly as long as some people) as they are.

We have all heard it before: He doesn't stand a chance; it's a wasted vote; we must work within the party to make it better, etc., ad infinitum, ad nauseam.

Now, I will be the first to admit that the deck is stacked against an independent candidate succeeding at any political level. The two dominant parties do not like competition. And they have made it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT for third parties to have a fighting chance to prevail."

If I Were President

By Chuck Baldwin - Presidential Nominee for the Constitution Party

" speaking of illegal immigration, as President, I would enforce our visa rules. This means anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law is immediately deported. There would be no "path to citizenship" given to any illegal alien. That means no amnesty. Not in any shape, manner, or form. "

GOP cheats Ron Paul activists into submission

This is why the GOP is becoming like the Democrats, in the sense they will play dirty to remain in power.
Where is the party for the people still left with morals?

We don't have to vote for the lesser of two evils, like the media would encourage us to do.

Ron Paul Is Right on Peace, Liberty and Ending the U.S. Empire

On the war, Rep. Paul voted, in Oct., 2002, against the U.S. Congress delegating the power to use military force against Iraq to President George W. Bush. He said that, as soon as the Bush-Cheney Gang took office in Jan., 2001, "and that was long before 9/11," they were looking to bring about "regime change" in Iraq. He also believes that the "Israeli government and the Neocons want the U.S. to attack Iran."

John McCain is No Hero

I have never in my long life seen propaganda as blatant and untrue as the ceaseless barrage of lies proclaiming John McCain as a hero. Nothing could be farther from the truth. As McCain emerged as a candidate, ABC made-a-for-TV movie portraying him as a hero who endured torture and prevailed. About the only thing in that movie that was the truth is that they got his name right. While a POW, his propaganda broadcasts were frequently heard on Radio Hanoi. By his own admission, when he was pulled from the lake in downtown Hanoi, badly hurt, the first thing he did was to identify himself as the son of Admiral McCain,...

On Money, Inflation and Government

by Ron Paul
These past few weeks have provided an unfortunate opportunity to discuss inflation. The dollar index has reached new all-time lows. The total money supply, M3, as calculated by private sources, is growing at a disturbing 17% rate. The Fed is pumping dollars into the economy at an alarming rate. Just recently the Fed announced new loan auctions totaling $100 billion. That is new money created from thin air. If these money auctions, combined with the bailout of Bear Stearns, continue to be the trend, we are in for some economic stormy weather. The explanation lies in understanding the basics of money, and why it is dangerous to give government and big banks control over it.

First, money is not wealth, in and of itself. You cannot create more wealth simply by creating more money. Wall Street bankers cry out for more liquidity, but what is really needed is more value behind the dollar. But the value, unfortunately, isn't there.

Apathetic Pastors And Christians Killing America

by Pastor Chuck Baldwin
"Oh, I know that almost all of our pastors and church leaders will laud and honor a young Christian man's decision to join our armed forces and go overseas to fight enemies abroad. But when it comes to opposing those within our own country who seek to dismantle constitutional government or the principles of liberty, their support for resistance turns to apathy and indifference."

A little History on Gun Control

A Little Gun Control History Lesson

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million 'educated' people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.

What is the moral of this history lesson...

DON'T GIVE UP YOUR GUNS!!!!

Let's Hear It For The GOP!

Commentary by Pastor Chuck Baldwin

For a few minutes there, I thought the GOP might have lost its mind, but I am glad to report that all is well with the Republican Party. The international bankers and oil companies, and the military-industrial complex, as well as the presidents of Mexico and Canada, can breathe easy. With John McCain as the presumptive Republican nominee, the globalist power brokers who have dominated the last three Presidential administrations can know that they are still in charge. There will be no changing of the guard this November.

Has John Hagee of Cornerstone coverted?

from Christianity.
Hagee seem to be saying Jesus isn't the Messiah, as a promotion of his new book "In Defense of Israel" as he has stated in the quotes below from his video book promo.
"Jesus did not come to Earth to BE the Messiah."
"Jesus refused by word and deed to be the Messiah."
"The Jews cannot be blamed for not accepting what was never offered."

Hagee has clearly been a proponent of the US pre-emptively striking Iran, before they get nuclear weapons or supposedly bombs Israel.

Hagee must believe the USA was forged to be Israel's protector, although Israel can't seem to protect itself because of US and UN involvement in the Middle East.
People often misinterpet the Bible where it says those that bless Israel will be blessed by God.
We'll I have news for those who've been blindly led, America funding both sides of the conflict in the Middle East, and tieing the hands of Israel, is not only manipulative but far from blessing Israel.
America has intervened in so many place around the world where it should never have that America is far from being blessed as the largest debtor nation in the world.

He is Risen!

He is Risen.
by Pastor Chuck Baldwin

On this Good Friday, it behooves us to remind ourselves (Christians should need no reminder) of the significance of this season. Along with the virgin birth, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ forms the cornerstone of the Christian faith. Indeed, the resurrection of Jesus separates Christianity from all the world's religions.

By Pastor Chuck Baldwin

What's With All These Clueless Christians?

by Chuck Baldwin

"For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect." Mark 13:22 (KJV)

"And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." II Thessalonians 2:11 (KJV)

What's with all these clueless Christians? How is it that people who have the benefit of the indwelling Holy Spirit, and the warning and insight of the Sacred Scriptures--not to mention a rich Christian heritage here in America--can be so ignorant, blind, and naïve? Yes, the majority of evangelical Christians seem to be all of the above. The problem has passed being serious: it is catastrophic!
